While much of the GB attention surrounded Mo Farah, Ross Millington of Stockport Harriers was also selected by team GB in the 10K. While a quick search through the records suggests that Ross has not run in the League, his coach Steve Vernon, most certainly has, most recently in 2013. Steve also proudly boasts two National XC Championship victories to his name, in addition to a record number of Northern XC Championship victories, most recently eclipsing the tally of Ron Hill. Congratulations to you both. If nothing else, this goes to show that with hard work and endeavour dreams can come true…Good luck to all of our talented Juniors for the new season.
