PLEASE READ THE VENUE NOTES AS REGARDS TO THE VARIOUS FORMS OF TRANSPORT TO ACCESS THE PARK.i.e. train / tram, bus, bike, car and foot.
Parking in the park at the designated car parks is as follows:
Parking via the Athletics Track Facility is in the track facility car-park, this will fill up with young athlete parking initially, but more spaces will become available for women and men as kids leave, on a rolling basis.
The adjacent throws field on grass, plenty of room, but if extremely wet, then it will be closed N.B. Stewards will control the parking in these areas, but please park sensibly. There have been complaints at other events of cars backing up Wythenshawe road, so please be considerate and also allow each other enough room to drive in and out of the narrow access road.
Parking via Wythenshawe Parks main driveway road. The Field opposite golf and bowls, access gate is across the road from the end of the bowls. but if extremely wet, then it may be closed. The race start area is a short walk.
Car park opposite the stables, just a few hundred metres walk to the track and start area.
N.B. If car parks are temporarily full then use the adjacent roads of Orton, Northolt, Sledmoor etc and allow a little extra time when parking, to get to the start.
