The Juniors excelled at Tatton Park; producing a series of superb races under the winter sun.
Jamie Richardson of West Cheshire moved away from Henry Pickard and Tom Clark to take U17 honours. Amelia Platt was one of the most convincing winners of the day, over a minute ahead of Freya Griffiths and Grace Tobin.
Stockport’s Freya Murdoch continued her domination of the U15 girls’ section, 30 seconds clear of Imogen Wharton, with Jessica Clark third. Trafford’s Freddie Meredith pulled clear of Louis Hatton and Max Webster in the closing stages of the U15 boys’ race.
Liverpool Harrier’s Bailey Hughes prevailed by three seconds over Isobel Hall, with Isabella Doran taking third place in the U13 girls’ race.
Salford Harrier Evan Grime has been a standout U13 in this series, and here he was able to get 50m of daylight from Joshua Hatton and Sonny Cassell to take the spoils.
Bobby Birkett of St Helens was the leading U11 boy, with Euan Lawton and Thomas Smout in second and third. Beatrix Soper of Salford took first in the girls’ equivalent with Isobel Beddow and Megan Boyer in the other top places.
