We were blessed with good weather and a fast course due to the dry conditions…Many thanks to Stockport for helping to stage such a fine race meeting.
With the start and finish close together and the finish involving a lap of the perimeter of the track area, the atmosphere was tremendous.
Record numbers in the senior races and high turnouts in the junior races meant that marshals,spectators and officials had little time to draw breath but were all part of a tremendous afternoon of running.
