Match Two at Sherdley Park was greeted with virtually every element of the weather but we enjoyed another tremendous day of racing.
Early arrivals struggled with their tents but as 12.00 noon and the start of the first race approached, the sun broke through to celebrate the first appearance of the new season for the U11 Girls & U11 Boys. Sadly it was not to last as we then had a variety of conditions but which still included fleeting glimpses of the sun.

On days such as this , its always worth remembering that we are indebted to our match day officials and marshals.
Every Match needs officials !
Honest endeavour from the athletes, plenty of vocal support from club colleagues and spectators made for a tremendous atmosphere with the cheering and the ringing of bells creating a wonderful atmosphere.

One special mention : Well known for their rousing support for fellow athletes, Chorlton Runners made the short journey up the M62 today by Coach! You are certainly making your presence known!
