The age-group races proved to be as exciting and competitive as the Seniors, with numbers markedly on the increase on this testing circuit.
Jamie Richardson edged Will Strickley in the U17 event with Henry Pickard coming in third ahead of Jack Strickley. Emilia Platt was a resounding winner, over a minute ahead of Orla Gregory.
U15 Ben Williams moved away from namesake Leatherbarrow in the last half-mile for a solid victory. Freya Murdoch followed up her Wythenshawe triumph to run away from Imogen Wharton by over 200m.
Evan Grime convincing U13 repeat winner, moving clear of Ben Keely mid-way through the race. Whilst Molly Mills and Oonagh McManus fought a close duel with Mills prevailing at the finish.
Top of the class in the U11 section were Euan Lawton and Beatrix Soper.
The successfully re-launched league moves on to the next match, which takes place on the 4th of December at Kenworthy Woods.
