An update on our MACCL Presentation Evening, Friday 25th March 7.30 prompt at Wilmslow Rugby Club
Thank you for the excellent uptake on tickets for our end of season presentation.
We are looking forward to Clifton Bradeley talk to us… Clifton broke the British record for the indoor mile (England V USA 1985, a 3.57.88min/sec) to become the first British athlete to run a sub-4-minute mile on an English indoor running track.
Clifton has agreed to speak without a fee, but we did ask that all attending bring an item for his Ukraine fund (toothpaste, toothbrush, toiletries etc.)…We now understand that such is the response already that we are now asking that people donate to a collection on the night they wish to the Red Cross or Unicef on line appeal.
