Match Three at Sherdley Park – 2 December – Postponed
We received an email message from the host club for Match 3, St Helens Sutton AC, late this afternoon.
Sadly, following an inspection of the Park earlier today the Council reported that large areas of the park had not recovered from the Reminisce Festival held in August. Coupled with the bad weather we have had since September, any sort of event but especially running will cause further damage. They are not prepared to allow this to happen. So the event can’t go ahead.
We wanted to let you know as soon as possible, to allow you to plan and to inform your athletes. We are looking at a date in March and will contact you again asap.
If you can’t wait until January for Tatton Park, why not get your runners to do the GMAA XC Champs on Saturday 16th December at Wythenshawe Park?
